Hmmm...can you say Book Nerd?
So My Queen kaige68 posted a Book Meme thing, about the Amazon 100 Books to Read in a Lifetime.

How many have I read? 33 of them. Can you say English Major/Book Nerd? That's me!

Recently, I have begun to read, again, The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series by Alexander McCall Smith. None of the books from the series are on the "100 books to read" but they should be. The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency books are wonderful - warm, heartfelt, beautiful. They all take place in Botswana, a place I now want to visit. If you are looking for a book to read that will leave you smiling and doesn't include blood and gore or vampires, I can't recommend The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency highly enough!!!

Otherwise, how are you? I've missed you, my LJ friends.

You've been missed!!!! Hope everything is going great!

No surprise about being a book nerd :-)

I'll take a guess and say The Sun Also Rises.

I have only read 13 on that list. Most of the stories are not within my reading interest.

My reading tends to go to: Anne McCaffrey, Issac Asimov, Steven Brust, Robert Aspirin, Frank Herbert, Agatha Christie, Shakespeare, Lucy Maud Montgomery, and yeah, shutting up now. XD

You are very cool! I wish I could say I've read that many - I only got to 15 (and three of them are short children's books I read with my kids!), but unfortunately, gay novels don't seem to score high on those lists... *whistles*

Glad to see you here, my dear! I am so behind on flist, but I am well.
