How can you hate collards? I could understand Turnip Greens and Mustard greens, but not collards (or Beet greens *Yum*)

Sarcastic is totally a mood!

:) It was nice seeing something about you.

OMG I hate collards. They turn my stomach!!! HATE them.

I'm glad sarcastic is a mood. It's (sadly) my default!!

8:30? Wow that seems decadent. I love when that can happen.

This was cool!!!!

And I get what you say about zoos, I can usually handle it there, but at shelters I just want to take everyone home!

I KNOW. 8:30!! If I stay up way too late, I get up later. I'm poor but I'm well rested! It's all about compromise, isn't it?

I cannot go to animal shelters. I won't let my sister go to PetSmart when they have an adoption fair. She's even worse than I am and would take them all home. Hence, 6 dogs currently. Only two were foundlings but we'd have 6 more if I didn't say no!

I resisted going through the safari at DisneyWorld's Animal Kingdom but I did enjoy it. At least they are in a "natural" habitat. And I don't think zoos should be banned. I just don't want to go to them. It's very complex!

I am not a vegetarian because hamburger meat and steaks are raised in Styrofoam. You know, in the back of Food Lion. If I actually thought about meat and chicken, I'd end up a vegetarian. But man I love a good steak! As long as it was raised by its styrofoam mother and father!

I know what you mean! If hamburg and ham didn't come from their packaging parents I probably wouldn't eat them. Chicken - Yeah, I could take down a chicken. Even with my fear of birds!

I can handle the zoos, as you said, you get to believe that the animals are taken care of, but I do get what you say about them not being home. On the other hand, there is no way I could care for a gorilla in my back yard (apparently I'm good with skunks though), so there is no feeling of urgency for adopting them in me. ;)

Ouch - that's one bad bout of food poisoning. :\. Cute image, picturing the dogs attempting to go with you - they're such optimistic critters. :) Or maybe stubborn is more like it...

I literally nearly died of food poisoning. I couldn't keep anything down and my kidneys nearly quit functioning from severe dehydration. That's why I had to be hospitalized.

Worse still, I was hospitalized over my BIRTHDAY!!! It was horrible! (Although the kitchen of the hospital did make me a birthday cake. That was cool.)

I was also in charge of a golf tournament to raise scholarship money for the school where I worked. I missed the tournament because I was so sick.

I was sick for almost a month, between the time before I went to the hospital and the time it took to recover after I got out. It was truly a nightmare!

Our dogs LOVE to ride. If we are wearing our "working" clothes, they don't try to go with us. When I go to class, they know I have school and don't try to go. But if my sister and I leave the house at the same time, they are SURE they can go with us! It's quite a circus trying to get them to stay. "No" is not really in their vocabulary! And, yes, stubborn is their middle name. The lot of them!

Thanks for playing!!! :-)

I know, right? Where does the time go?

Also, with you on chores - you mean there are people who actually LIKE them?

And no nicknames, baby I call you Tkeyla and I'm not convinced it's your real name! ;-P

Loving these Star Wars quotes, baby. Kaige had one too!

What are collards? I bet I'd hate them too, although this is hardly surprising. I put peas as my most hated, but in fact I'd find it easier to say which ones I like.

I do get the comment about zoos, but honestly believe that they have a place - our zoo here in Auckland has changed so much since the days when polar bears there had a white painted concrete enclosure. Enclosures are so much bigger, more natural and they really do work to make life as interesting and good for the animals there, and we no longer have animals like polar bears, needless to say.
