I really don't like people. Not all the time, just sometimes.

Why are people so mean? And so stupid? Okay, stupid may be overly harsh. But my goodness - it takes far less effort to be nice than to be ugly to each other.

I guess this is coming from my natural introvert place. Yesterday in the tutoring center I didn't have a chance to breathe. For 5.5 hours, I was helping people write papers, solve math equations, figuring out business law as it pertains to hospital injuries, and instructing students on the basics of being students. I can say that 95% of the students who come to the tutoring center are nice, patient, and grateful. It's that other 5% who completely wear me out.

The tutoring center closes on Fridays at 2:00. I got there at 8:20 (although I was supposed to be there at 8:00 but that's what happens when you turn your alarm off and go back to sleep.) I was so ready to leave at 2:00 but a student needed "just one more minute" to figure out her assignments. That one minute naturally turned into 20 minutes. I was very careful to keep my impatience to myself but honestly, we close at 2:00.

In case it doesn't sound like it, I do love working in the tutoring center. It's just that sometimes, the demands of the job become too much. Too many people.

Now I'm going to go find some cheese to go with this whine!!

I hope all of you have a glorious weekend!

I get it, I do. It's really crappy sometimes.

I can count, on one hand, the amount of times I've left work on time in the last month. Sometimes I'm in the zone and am staying until the thing is done, and sometimes... yes that extra five minutes will kill me!

Also, I love cheese. Just sayin.

*hugs* I totally get it. Whining always helps some though - just sharing makes you feel better. Good luck with the next day there! Enjoy the cheese! ;-)
